Founded in 2016, Community Link Foundation Uganda (CLFU) is a Charitable Humanitarian NGO that aims at promoting both health and socio economic aspects of most vulnerable communities in Uganda. Globally, Uganda is one of the countries with youngest population with 70_80% being youth who face unique challenges ranging from unemployment, lack of required skills to bridge the unemployment gaps, early marriages, drug and alcohol abuse, gender based violence (GBV) and HIV/AIDS among others. Based on the above challenges, CLFU founder members and vision bearers Vincent Obwana and Samson Omongin who found it relevant to come up with community led interventions and solutions that engage youth/young people into meaningful and productive activities that promote health, and bridging the socio economic gaps caused by high unemployment rates. With the selected target groups and communities empowered, CLFU will ensuremuch stronger and resilient communities which are able to sustain their livelihoods. These process is achieved through program development, effective and efficient implementation and community engagement.
